"G'day, mate." A young man with sea-touseled, golden blond hair and an enviable tan gracing his ripped torso grins as he walks through the Emporium's open door. "Bonzer store."

"Thanks. Please, explain your purpose and start with your name?" I say without conscious thought.

"I'm Ollie, and I was looking for somewhere to sell these." He pulls a long jewelry box from his surfer shorts and lays it on the table. Draven takes a step from his guard post by my chair and picks it up. I'm grateful he decided to stay, but his attention is as much in the clouds as it is here.

"Purple diamonds?" He whistles, holding the box for me to examine the intricate set comprising a white gold necklace with a thick decorative chain and a frankly massive dark purple diamond. I'm no expert, but I'd guess between seventy and a hundred carats. My mind boggles at the value of that alone. It's set in an ornate filigree pendant decorated with smaller light purple and pink diamonds. There are also matching stud and dangly earrings, numerous rings, bracelets, and a long chain with daintier versions of pendants hanging from every fifth link. It's a lot of diamonds, in rare colors.

"Is that more of your…" I raise my hand to cut Draven off as though admitting these diamonds are part of my genie regalia will make it any less true. With ragged breaths, I indicate for Draven to close the box. I fetch a pen and paper from the counter and write an amount with more zeros than the national debt of many countries. Ollie's mouth opens and closes, reminding me of a fish out of water. He stares between Draven and me then back to the number.

"It will be in your account in minutes." I hear Draven say as he retrieves the key for the dark cupboard, and another item I crave to wear and dedicate my genie essence to disappears into the depths of the impenetrable dark cupboard.

Ollie's phone pings, and he checks it. "It's in my account, all of it. Wow, Raven was right."

"You know Raven?" Is she behind my genie items arriving? Although I suspect if it was down to her, she'd be here for the rewards herself. Or failing that curiosity.

"We hooked up after the boozer." Ollie's brow furrows. "Is this a trick?"

"The money is yours to keep and spend however you wish on whatever you wish. We do recommend the house and plane you've been wanting." A typical one-story Australian property with a huge pool, a vast hangar, and an airstrip somewhere in the outback floats into my mind. Ollie thanks us and walks out, staring at his phone.

"We need to do something about this genie gear. It's too much." Draven stands by the dark cupboard, his arms crossed over his chest, radiating penned-up aggravation.

"I'm open to ideas." He raises one eyebrow, and my lips thin in response. "I'll call her later. Do you want to help Fin search for Paige?"

Draven looks out to the skies, growling.
